Planning Storyboard for my Music Video

     Establishing a narrative that was clear and aligned with the song was my biggest struggle when creating the storyboard. I had many ideas that aligned with the song but I knew that telling a story within the video was vital. Since the song is titled Kids, I wanted to follow a kid or a group of kids growing up and missing their childhood. With current times, I decided it would be best to focus on one character. The storyboard follows a young girl and the way she sees the world as she grows and changes. The first boxes show the innocence of childhood and how bright and carefree it is. The next four boxes show the girl growing up and gaining some independence, in this case being allowed to go out with friends. However the ninth box shows that with her independence also comes responsibility. The final three boxes show the girl all grown up with many responsibilities, like driving. Title Research: Watch the Titles Website

Our next focus was on the website Watch the Titles! When researching this website, we found a variety of information, which included opening sequences, designers, and studios. Our group viewed this website to further our knowledge in the opening sequence scenes in the thriller genre to aid our future project. We were able to see how different credit designers designed credits in multiple films for which they were featured in. A student showing option was also available to us so that we could see other students' own creations. This helped us see others creativity and thoughts while also being open minded and influenced. Our group also saw that opening and credit sequences were featured in not only films, but in television shows and video games. The opening sequence sets the stage for the theme and mood of the upcoming movie, show, and game. Editing Blog: Creating A Filter

      To start my editing process, I imported all of my video clips from my phone to my computer. I opened up iMovie and upload all of the videos into a new project; along with the videos I uploaded the music I needed. I arranged all of the clips in the correct order and made sure the audio was the correct length for the entire music video. After this, I wanted to add a filter to each section of the music video. I tried out some of the filters from iMovie but wasn't liking any of them. So, I tried to use the camera roll editing on my computer but it wasn't working. Due to this, I had to edit the clips on my phone and import them into my computer again. This set me back an hour or so in editing. Thankfully, I usually play around with the camera roll editing options so I decided to use my own filter.
